One more popular binary options broker with a great promotion. I wanted for a long time to give you an AnyOption review. It is not difficult to find AnyOption Complaints. There are everywhere. However, they are not all true or serious. So I made a deep research almost on all websites and forums and collected for you the most important ones.
Note: As of November 23rd, anyoption.com has concluded its binary options activity
AnyOption Complaints around the web
You can find complaints about almost anything. Price manipulation, withdrawal problems, support, account managers.
There is no point in winning when you cannot get your money. I found many complaints from traders that for some reason they had problems withdrawing their money. Here are some to give you an idea:
first Anyoption complaint
“Anyoption is not a scam however they would do everything in their power to prevent you from withdrawing your money. I have provided them all the necessary documents, including the signed withdrawal form…all they replied was the withdrawal was rejected because it was not HAND SIGNED? how could you someone not sign using their hand? and it takes them weeks to respond to any email so that’s customer service for you”
Have during 2 months had at least 8 chat or phone conversations and 11 e-mails sent in order to get a withdrawal done. They seldom reply, and if they reply they ask for some info to be sent in like copy of ID, utility bill or something else. Each time I provided exactly what they asked for and then nothing happens. After a week I again must contact them, eventually someone responds (often a new name again) and it all starts from scratch ( no customer corr log file?). Unbelievably frustrating and time consuming. In the end I got the money after having to threaten with all kind of bad publicity.”
“I would not recommend anyone to trade with Anyoption. They are not reliable anymore. Once you start making profits with them and try to withdraw your profits , they will give you shit and make excuses. First few withdrawals will be good though. Its not just me who experienced this , many of my friends also filed complaints against them. They have now changed the pip value of currency pairs to 3 decimal places instead of 4 , so that they can easily manipulate their clients.”
All three complaints above are serious. They are not just made after a day of not getting a reply. Or after 2-3 days of not getting their withdrawal. Of course, many of them finially they get their money but if it takes long is frustrating and stressful.
Here is one that got a reply:
“They will surely look friendly initially but not a reliable and trusted broker at all in long run.Its been 8 weeks and I am still waiting for my $2000 profit to get transferred to my account and this is happening having traded on their platform for 1 year. Their support sucks .
Reply: i dont know where you saw any rate difference . im also a trader at stockpair and the price they offer is almost identical.i have been trading with anyoption for the last 2 years , i have withdrawn in total more than 25 000usd . so for me they are reliable and im quite happy so far . i just dont understand your experience .”
Account managers and bonus traps
Here is a complaint that is a bit common among many binary options brokers.
“Anyoption is a cheating website! A total scam!
I received a email saying that they are giving a risk free trade that says min 5k investment for this trade.
If the trade that they gave is lost, they will refund you back the $5k. Ok so I called and ask this particular Senior staff of theirs, by the name of Cara, about this risk free investment trade. She said if the first trade is won, I will get a bonus but I can’t withdraw this bonus cos i will need to trade 5X of the initial 5K investment, which is $25K of volume then I can withdraw my 5K capital + the bonus. Ok then I said fine with me, cos if I win the extra bonus, I dont mind to trade more with them.
So I went ahead to start the first risk free investment trade that she gave.. She gave 5 recommended trades but 4 out of the 5 were lost! And I put all my $5K into one of her losing trade that she gave. Ok so now the trade that she gave I totally lost, and after that this is the worst part that had ever happen. My account then reflected back the $5K, & I called their customer service, and they said that this 5K was considered a “Bonus” to me! Omg this 5K should be a REFUND! since the trades that she gave was lost!
I was totally pi$$ed off and I flared up, how can they said the refund is a BONUS back to me?! I was very very angry..and they said in order to get back this “Bonus”, I need to trade additional of $25K in order to take back my money! My money is the 5K that I have invested in her losing trades that she gave!”
Well, there are two parts I want to comment on. The first is the bonus trap. This is a common mistake most traders do. They take the bonus without reading the Terms & Conditions. As I always say, since 2013, Never take the bonus! The second part is the lost trades that the account manager advised. No comment. I am tired of this. I have made comments on my other reviews.
“Using anyoption has been my worst decision ever. I ended up loosing 3500 euros in 1 month. When you join, an advisor calls you daily to guide you, but actualy their main duty is to trick you to invest more and more money”
Price manipulation complaints
Price manipulation is an important thing. However, the negative comments are not always true. Look at my review of Marketsworld, which is also one of my favorite binary options providers. Here is,for example, a complaint I found:
“no body ever play this site when market volume very low, because they are very unfair and trying to take your investment by moving the stock spreads by 3 pips.Anyoption is worse than a scam. I have started to trade with this company this week. They cheat me about 4 times on all the close binary trades. The same position trigger two different signal on their Profit Line trading. All in favor of Anyoption. If your trade is one or two pips away on the winning side, you are a lost soul.”
One of the several Anyoption complaints I found about support.
“Anyoption have a lack of professionalism they promise training I waited for that and I started trading, they wont offer support if you have issues i requested assistance didn’t had any feed back only ”special offers’ no human interaction ,if i would had a fat account they would probably come to my door as well”

Leading binary broker AnyOption has recently extended me an offer to do a review of their trading site. If you’ve read any fraction of the material I’ve written in the past about investing and day trading – you know I’m going to give you the skinny about the plusses and minuses without prejudice – and this review of will be no different.
The Pros of an Account at AnyOption
Wide Variety of Binary Options Contracts to Choose From
There is a ton of stuff to like – not the least of which is the large number of assets to trade – some 50 securities in all. The breadth of securities is very nice as well – including commodities such as Gold, Silver, and Oil.
Weekly Expiring ‘One Touch’ Options Offer an Unheard of 200-350% Return!
I don’t even know what to say about these special “one-touch” options. The rules on these are a little different –that’s probably makes the trading conditions difficult to understand for novice traders.
I don’t know about you – but that is exciting when you consider the potential gains – 200-350% on a single one week investment. However, be aware of large investment amount because I have experienced price manipulation while trading on big event days.
Bonus Offers Sometimes Available
We’re starting to tread into a bit of a grey area for me re: their policies. I am not familiar enough with their program to be able to tell you how large or how often they offer bonuses on deposits or possibly trades. However, don’t go for bonus without reading the policies very accurately, else your bonus might be a trap for you.
Anyoption Withdrawals and deposit
Lastly, I like the ability to make deposits by credit card or ACH/EFT/Swift or wire. There are some limitations and rules on withdrawals – but that shouldn’t be a big deal – all are typical of the industry. You should be trading with money that you won’t be needing right away so the withdrawal restrictions (one freebie per month – EFT/ACH within 3 days preferred) should not be an issue for you. Also, most trading sites have similar restrictions – so again this really should be a non-issue for most traders.
Anyoption Minimum Deposit / Minimum Investment
One last quick thing to mention is the account minimums. Although you may have seen elsewhere that the minimum deposit is $200, the correct figure is $100 – got that direct from the horse’s mouth in chat the other day. Secondly, the minimum investment there is $25. This figure is also a result of my chat with customer service there. Sorry if there have been any miscommunications on that topic here or elsewhere.
Let’s continue with the most important points of this Anyoption review.
Cons of Trading with AnyOption
Lack of Clarity on Bonus Cash
We alluded to it earlier, but there is some yet to be learned about the deposit and or trading bonuses. As you are already aware, I am HUGELY in favor of cash bonuses on deposits – I mean really – take the low hanging fruit whenever you can get it right? We’ll have to monitor their site for cash bonus announcements – and we’ll pass them on to you via our email newsletter.
They offer bonus cash on a case by case basis to active traders. The more you use your account with them, the greater the odds of earning bonus cash.
Slightly Lower Yields Partially
You are certain to find (at any given time) higher contract yields at brokers such. What you will NOT find at those sites is a blanket guarantee of a 15% return on OTM contracts.
Contracts Offered Not At the Real-Time Strike Price
Now to be fair – I have not had a lot of experience watching their contracts in real time – but if you look at the fine print of their FAQ page you’ll note that contract pricing is based on their own internal algorithm – not the underlying spot price of the security – so keep that in mind.
We’ll be watching the trading activity at their site this month and report back our findings as to the disposition of that algorithm relative to the spot price – as best we can track it. We don’t anticipate this to be a huge issue, as there are likely to be significant numbers of people on both sides of any binary contract at any given time. A significant imbalance would likely have to occur to move the price significantly off the spot price – but again – we’ll keep an eye out and report back.
